With constantly updated European documentation at our disposal, access to the European Commission’s own databases and privileged contacts within the Commission, the Southern Area EIC is a valuable source of information and advice.

The Southern Area EIC can help companies define the challenge EURO poses and put it in the right perspective. EURO Info Point services are, just like all our other services, confidential, impartial and well researched. We are able to offer customised help for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s), a speaker for seminars, visits to client premises and information and guidance on a practical approach to integrating the EURO into your company. 

Many of the larger companies have already decided to use the EURO as an internal unit of accounting and reporting. Small and Medium Sized Enterprises must therefore start to prepare now if their move towards EURO compatibility is to be achieved in an orderly and cost effective manner. 

The Southern Area European Information Centre is the European Commission’s local contact point for information and guidance on Monetary Union, European funding, public contracts and European legislation. As the natural first stop for businesses seeking advice on European business matters the Southern Area EIC is in an ideal position to provide guidance on issues pertaining to the Single European Currency. 
 

This EIC is part of the Steering Committee for the Government Office South East Regional EURO Forum (SEEAF) and works closely with other organisations throughout the South East Region of the UK to help companies be aware of the impact of the EURO.
